Professor Horenczyk’s major areas of teaching and research are: psychological aspects of cultural, ethnic, and Jewish identity, identity and adaptation of immigrants, immigrants in schools, the school acculturative context, identity transitions. He also headed the Israeli team of the ICSEY study (International Comparative Study of Ethnocultural Youth). He chaired the academic committee of the Interactive Jewish Museum of Chile, a didactic applied project for experiential multicultural education.
