Lúcio Alvaro Marques
Lúcio Alvaro Marques is Professor at the Federal University of the Triângulo Mineiro (UFTM). He works in the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences (DFICS) and in the Graduate Program in Education (PPG Educação, currently as coordinator). He has a Post-Doctorate in Brazilian Philosophy from the University of Porto / Portugal (UPORTO / 2015). PhD in Philosophy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS / 2012-2014). He graduated in Philosophy from PUCMINAS (1999-2001). He has experience in the areas of Brazilian Philosophy and Metaphysics. He works mainly on the following subjects: Brazilian Colonial Philosophy, Second Scholasticism and History of Teaching in Brazil. He coordinates the Scripta Brasiliana series, published by the Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Brasília / DF / Brazil).
