Xudong Zhu
Professor Zhu Xudong, who received a doctorate of Philosophy in Education at Beijing Normal University, is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Education.
Dean Zhu’s research mainly focuses on Comparative Education, Teacher Education, and Foreign Education History. He has published more than eighty papers, ten books, and edited four series. Among his publications released in recent years are Research on Teacher Learning Models: Experiences from China (Co-author, 2017), Constructing a Modern System of Teacher Education in China (Chief-editor,2014), Preparing Teachers for the 21st Century (Co-editor, 2013), Conceptualizing the Ontology of Higher Education with Chinese Characteristics (in Educational Philosophy and Theory, first author, 2018), The Construction of a Theoretical Model of Teachers’ Professional Development (in Educational Research, first author, 2014), A Design for the Administration Procedures of the Teacher Qualification Examination (in Educational Research, first author, 2016).
