Fariba Haghighi Irani
Fariba Haghighi Irani is a PhD holder of TEFL. She holds positions as an instructor and teacher educator at Islamic Azad University’s branches in Tehran West, North, and Electronic, and has been published in both national and international journals. Fariba played a crucial role in the development of a teacher education program that follows the Engage, Study, and Activate (ESA) approach. As both coordinator and researcher, she was instrumental in the SAMT national project, which aimed to create educational materials for non- English major university students.
She has joined ATINER, an international research center in Athens, since 2015. She is also the reviewer of IJTL, RELP, and LTIA. Her research interests include teacher education, teacher professional identity, second language teaching and learning, and research methodology.
