Kazan Federal University will host the VIII International Forum on Teacher Education

On May 25-27, 2022 VIII International Forum on Teacher Education (IFTE-2022)  will be hosted at Kazan Federal University. The IFTE Forum is one of the largest scientific platforms in the world that focuses on the issues of teacher education. 

VI and VII Forums have already been held in a virtual format, a number of sessions will be held online.

The Forum's objectives are

  • to contribute to research and innovation in teacher education, and to exchange experience for the improvement of the educational process;
  • to support cross-institutional cooperation in the field of teacher education quality;
  • to incorporate pedagogical theory, practice, and development strategies on teacher education;
  • to enhance the academic partnerships among scholars, practitioners, and policymakers in the field of education worldwide.

Within the Forum three international conferences will be held:

  1. Psychological well-being and teacher effectiveness.
  2. Adapting or changing: the impact of Covid-19 on teacher education.
  3. Research-based teacher education as a phenomenon of educational anthropology.

IFTE-2022 provides an opportunity to present, discuss and advance the research results of leading Russian and foreign scholars in the area of teacher education both online and in person. Upon the Forum outcomes, the best articles will be selected for publication in the international ARPHA Proceedings (indexed in the Web of Science database).
