Liyan Liu

Doctor of Education, Professor at the School of Foreign Languages, Northeast Normal University (China)

Liyan Liu is a Doctor of Education, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Foreign Languages, Northeast Normal University. She serves as the Executive Director of the Foreign Language Teaching Professional Committee and is a National Training Expert for Basic Education.

A recipient of the Baogang Excellent Teacher Award, she has also been recognized as a National Excellent Supervisor for Master of Education and received the Excellent Teaching Award of Northeast Normal University. She also serves as the Principal Investigator of two general projects in education funded by the National Social Science Fund of China.

In recent years, she has published 15 SSCI and CSSCI papers in academic journals and authored two monographs. Main research interests: English teacher education, English curriculum and instruction.
